Values

Our Values

Together Network is a values-based ministry, based on the values, nature and character of God and Scripture. They are the non-negotiables that we live by, and operate by, as a ministry.

  • Honour the Trinity and their works – We are committed to loving and worshipping the Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We are committed to sharing the good news of the Trinity’s love, as shown in Christ’s work on the cross, and to the advancement of the Kingdom of God on earth.

  • Honour for the Word of God – We honour Scripture as the holy and inspired Word of God. It was given to mankind to empower them by its instruction and correction, giving them the strength to take the right direction and lead them deeper into the path of godliness, so that they will be mature, and fully prepared servants of God, able to fulfil any assignment that God gives them. (2 Tim 3:16)

  • Honour and love one another – God is love, and we were created in His image, so we are learning to walk as love in this world. Love for the Trinity and for each other is a foundational value that our ministry is built on. We choose to love and honour them, and each other, in our attitudes, actions, responses, and words.

  • Worth – Mankind was created in God’s image and Christ died for them, therefore we recognise that each person has inestimable worth and we will treat them accordingly.

  • Equality – God created both male and female in His image – equal in His sight – with complementary abilities, gifts and thinking, therefore we see people as equal, and treat them accordingly.

  • Diversity – God created mankind as diverse, and we celebrate that diversity and uniqueness. We recognise and cherish the expression of God that is in each life.

  • The fruit of the Spirit – We are committed to growing and exhibiting the fruits of the Spirit in our lives – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

  • Support – We need each other and we choose to be there for each other and support each other in both our practical and our spiritual life. We champion others and refuse to allow the enemy to tempt us to view them as competitors in life or ministry.

  • Faith – We are women of faith – faith in God, faith in each other and faith that moves mountains and achieves the seemingly impossible.

  • Humility – We are women of humility. While we recognise our gifts, talents and abilities, and honour them, we also recognise that all our gifts come from God and that He gave us the ability to learn and gain skills.

  • Generosity - We are women of generosity in all areas of life – we give willingly of our gifts, time, finances, love etc.

  • Peacemakers – We are women who are committed to build healthy relationships and to work through issues and disagreements according to Scriptural principles.

  • Family – We are members of God’s family and we value all that Kingdom ‘family’ embodies, trusting each other, believing the best, being helpful, serving each other etc.

  • Accountability – We are accountable to God and to each other. This accountability comes from our family relationship in Christ, not through hierarchy.

  • Joy and fun – Joy and fun are a part of Kingdom life and we are women who live from joy, and love having fun.

  • Righteousness and holiness – We have been made righteous and holy in Christ and therefore we live in the light of that truth.
